Through targeted grantmaking, partnerships and storytelling, the Scripps Howard Fund mobilizes communities around key issues, especially childhood literacy.
The Scripps Howard Fund is based in Cincinnati, where The E.W. Scripps Company is headquartered. The Fund makes grants on the company’s behalf to nonprofits that focus on childhood literacy and basic needs for people living in poverty. It also funds communication internships for Greater Cincinnati college students at local nonprofits.
The Scripps Howard Fund supports programs that drive change in communities served by The E.W. Scripps Company – the communities it calls home – thanks to funds established by the company and Bob Scripps.
