The Scripps Howard Fund divides its grant cycles into two categories: applications for funds at $15,000 and under; and applications for grants greater than $15,000. Our funding priorities: childhood literacy and basic needs for people living in poverty.
Organizations interested in basic needs funding are only eligible to apply for small grants (less than $15,000).
Organizations interested in childhood literacy funding are eligible to apply for either small grants (less than $15,000) or large grants ($15,000 or more).

For organizations outside of Greater Cincinnati, the Scripps Howard Fund makes grants on an invitation basis only and only in the regions where Scripps operates.
