Casey Ruschman
Community Giving Manager

Casey Ruschman is the community giving manager for the Scripps Howard Fund. 

Prior to joining the Fund in 2019, Casey worked in corporate philanthropy, employee engagement, volunteerism and community giving. 

Casey earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio University and a master’s degree from Northern Kentucky University. She also received a graduate certificate in philanthropic studies from the Lilly School of Philanthropy at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis. 

Casey was named a YWCA Rising Star in 2017, received Cincinnati Business Courier’s Forty Under 40 Award in 2018 and was named “The Next Generation of Community Leaders” by Venue Magazine in 2017. 

The Cincinnati, Ohio native is a member of Leadership Northern Kentucky class of 2016 and WE Lead Class 9. She serves on the board of The Library Foundation of Cincinnati & Hamilton County, Northern Kentucky University Go Norse Fund and Magnified Giving.

Casey’s passion is working with nonprofits and the local community to advance positive change. Her interest and enthusiasm in childhood literacy comes from her love of reading, volunteering with youth and raising her three children with her husband.
