University Partnerships

The Scripps Howard Foundation invests in the journalists of tomorrow. That investment is supported by partnerships with universities across the country who are equipping students with the tools they need to hit the ground running once they reach the newsroom.

Today’s journalism and communication students are preparing for careers in an industry that is undergoing tremendous change. The Scripps Howard Foundation is supporting their career development with internships, scholarships, competitions and programs that expand their awareness and increase their skills.

Educators

Today’s journalism and communication students are preparing for careers in an industry that is undergoing tremendous change. The Scripps Howard Foundation is supporting their career development with internships, scholarships, competitions and programs that expand their awareness and raise their expectations.

We’re also helping journalism educators infuse entrepreneurship and social media into academic programs, preparing others for careers in administration and honoring those who teach and lead the nation’s journalism and mass communication schools with excellence.
