Journalism Grants

Foundation grants give professional journalists the funding they need to cover issues of national and international importance with insight and integrity, and help others refresh their skill sets or prepare for new careers in journalism.

Apply for Grants

Grants range from $5,000 to $7,500.
Grants requests must be submitted in writing by April 30 for consideration during the year’s first grants period and by Sept. 15 for second-half consideration.
Successful grant applications are typically awarded in late June and December.
