Patrice Pennington is a philanthropy manager with the Scripps Howard Fund.
Before joining Scripps Patrice spent 20 years in the nonprofit sector.
Patrice earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati in English Literature after which she completed two terms of AmeriCorps service with Public Allies Cincinnati. Patrice’s commitment to community and helping others led her to work with nonprofits that center marginalized communities. She’s led efforts to reduce hunger, improve public health, and increase access to education.
Patrice lives in Cincinnati with her husband and three children. You can find her in one of the city’s many parks or restaurants.
