Robert (Bob) Oestreicher is senior vice president, corporate counsel for The E.W. Scripps Company.
In this role, Bob provides legal support and advice to management and the board of directors regarding corporate and securities law and business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investments and real estate transactions. He also serves as the company’s corporate secretary.
Bob came to Scripps in 2023 from Tire Discounters, where he served as the company’s chief legal officer. In his 11 years with Tire Discounters, he led acquisition and new construction efforts that more than tripled the number of locations across the company’s footprint. Prior to that, he was an associate with Baker & Hostetler LLP.
Bob earned his bachelor of science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his juris doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
Bob lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Jenny, and their two children. He has served on the boards of several community non-profit organizations, including Easterseals Redwood and the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, and currently serves as the president of the board of the Mayerson JCC.
