Keisha Taylor Starr is executive vice president, chief marketing officer and GM, Scripps Networks. In this role, she leads initiatives aimed at raising the visibility of the Scripps company’s family of brands with audiences and advertisers, including programming strategy and execution. Before being named CMO in January 2023, she led marketing strategies for Scripps’ national networks, including the 2023 rebranding of Scripps News from Newsy.
Before joining Scripps in 2022, Keisha served as senior vice president of marketing and public relations for the digital news outlet The Recount. Before that, as senior vice president of integrated marketing at Learfield IMG College, she oversaw all marketing, including graphic design, research and analytics, client insights and innovation and events at the sports marketing agency. She also spent a decade with WarnerMedia (formerly Turner Broadcasting), leading award-winning teams across entertainment (TNT/tbs) and news (CNN) networks. Keisha was named one of the 2023 Top Women in Media by news industry publisher Cynopsis Media.
Keisha holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communications/media studies from Hampton University. She is based in Atlanta.
