Beth Welter is senior vice president, strategic planning and communications.
In this role, Beth serves as the strategic advisor for and driver of major initiatives and projects for the CEO and C-suite, including the strategic planning process and internal corporate communications and change management as well as responsibilities for the quarterly board of directors meetings.
Since 2013, Beth has held several roles in corporate communications with multiple responsibilities, including internal communications, change management, crisis communications and executive communications. Her most recent role was vice president, strategic communications and change management.
Prior to Scripps, Beth worked in corporate communications for Fifth Third Bancorp and The Kroger Company. She earned her bachelor’s degree in speech communications from Northern Kentucky University.
Beth’s volunteer work includes YWCA, DCCH Center for Children and Families, Social Venture Partners and Family Nurturing Center, where she is immediate past chair of the board as well as marketing committee chair. Beth is a graduate of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber’s WE Succeed class of 2015 and Leadership Cincinnati class 45.
