Scripps to discuss strategic initiatives at Bear Stearns Conference

CINCINNATI – Kenneth W. Lowe, president and CEO of The E.W. Scripps Company and Richard A. Boehne, executive vice president, will discuss the company’s business strategy March 4, during the Bear Stearns Annual Media, Entertainment and Information Conference.The Scripps presentation is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. EST and will be Web cast live via the company’s Web site at www.scripps.com. The conference is being held at The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach. An audio archive will be available via the Scripps Web site within 24 hours after the presentation.The E.W. Scripps Company is a diverse media concern with interests in newspaper publishing, broadcast television, national television networks and interactive media.
