Robert Kalutkiewicz, 38, is vice president of strategy, new business and corporate development for The E.W. Scripps Company.
Robert is responsible for developing and executing the company’s growth strategy and identifying, developing and evaluating investment, acquisition and partnership opportunities in the national media marketplace.
Before joining Scripps, he was vice president, M&A and strategy for TRONC, formerly Tribune Publishing, where he was responsible for sourcing new deals and business opportunities for the media company. He also led corporate growth strategy for Wasserman Media Group as vice president, M&A and strategy, and helped accelerate the growth for Sony Pictures Entertainment and Disney Interactive.
Prior to that, Robert gained in-depth knowledge of digital and traditional entertainment working in the investment banking and private equity sectors at J.P. Morgan and Shamrock Capital Advisors.
Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Boston College and holds an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business with an emphasis on media entertainment.
Robert lives with his wife in Cincinnati.
