(Kansas City, Missouri)-Rick Iler, News Director of NBC Action News, announced the addition of Russ Ptacek to the NBC Action News Investigators unit effective July 14, 2008. Ptacek has been a general assignment reporter for NBC Action News since August 2006. With over two decades of experience at both the local and network levels, Russ has won numerous regional and national awards.
“Russ does an amazing job as one of our night side reporters,” said Iler. “I am very excited that he will take his reporting skills to the next level by joining our investigative unit.”
