Recognition and support

Everyone needs encouragement and at the Scripps Howard Foundation we especially like to reward and incentivize the journalists who use the power of the pen, keyboard and smartphone to fairly cover topics of relevance for local and national audiences. At the Scripps Howard Foundation, we support democracy and advance the cause of a free press by encouraging journalistic excellence, and providing educational and career development opportunities for journalists.
