KNXV promises to deliver news to Arizona – not fluff, but news that affects our viewers and the families of Arizona. “Your Valley News Leader” is our motto and something we live up to every day. From state-of-the-art, centrally located studios, KNXV is on the cutting edge of local television, broadcasting in both analog and digital. The four pillars of our news station are breaking news, consumer news, investigations and weather information.
To that end, ABC15 formed the Breaking News Team. Our Smart Shopper finds deals and ways to save viewers money. Our weather team has ABC15 Desert Doppler, the most powerful radar in Arizona, and WOW (Weather on Wheels) to teach Arizona children about our weather. The ABC15 INVESTIGATORS are the largest investigative team in Arizona and have been honored with numerous awards, sweeping the Rocky Mountain Emmys this year and winning a national Emmy nomination for their work.
In fact, the entire ABC15 news team dominated the Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards this year. ABC15 was nominated for an unprecedented 46 Emmy awards, taking home 13 awards. ABC15's own 5pm, 6pm and 10pm anchor, Katie Raml, took top honors for Anchor of the Year from the Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards and the Associated Press. From every member of our staff, ABC15 prides ourselves on being “Your Valley News Leader.”
